En: This work consists of three pieces and focuses on shadows and drawing hands. First, we took a photo of our hand in a position connected to a specific word. We then drew the image in pencil, with the instruction to only draw the shadows. After that, the drawing was scratched into Schabkarton (scratchboard). Finally, I scanned the result and turned it into a mixed media piece.

De: Diese Arbeit besteht aus drei Teilen und konzentriert sich auf Schatten und zeichnende Hände. Zunächst haben wir ein Foto unserer Hand in einer Position gemacht, die mit einem bestimmten Wort in Verbindung steht. Dann haben wir das Bild mit Bleistift gezeichnet, wobei wir nur die Schatten zeichnen sollten. Danach wurde die Zeichnung in Schabkarton (Kratzbrett) geritzt. Schließlich habe ich das Ergebnis gescannt und in ein Mixed-Media-Werk verwandelt.
